Today was the last Twitter Tuesday of the class. It was a bittersweet moment as the although I am happy to end the quarter, it was so great to experience so many things through Twitter and my research of canines. I started off today's Twitter Tuesday by making some tweets about wolves. I found some new articles online that related to my advocacy project and posted that just to get some more awareness about wolf poaching out there. It is the least I can do. I hope in the future this issue will get better. I then Tweeted about some of the writing techniques and social media lessons I learned in this class. The use of Twitter was definitely the biggest one as I found that it is such a powerful tool to allow people to communicate about similar ideas and advocate for causes that they are passionate about. I also learned about the power of peer review and close reading among other things. I then responded to some of my peers and saw how they all said very similar things to me. There was a lot of impact from using Twitter and even from peer review. Last, I followed some Biologists because they have relation to my major. This is with the hopes of learning something from these people that I can take on for the future. Just wanted to say thank you to Professor Greg McClure and my peers for going through this class with me. It has been great to share my journey with all of you readers throughout this quarter and I hope I impacted at least some of you with my messages. :)
